Bangs

i am bored with my current hair and am really thinking about getting bangs. they do go well with my face, since i have kind of strong features. i would like the blunt bangs that go straight down. the only thing is, i have really curly hair so the bangs would definitely not lay flat. i mean, i have heard that it's possible to keep bangs straight and just style the rest of the hair naturally, it's high maintenance but i have heard that it's possible. but another thing is, i live in miami and it is so humid all the time down here. would the bangs just frizz up fast since they are basically just short hairs? or if i blow dry the bangs every night would they lay flat? i am just wondering if it is possible to have bangs with curly hair because i have always wanted them.

I would say just get a straightening iron, and iron them every day. It takes all of 2 minutes. But the fact that you live in a humid climate... I really don't know about that... you might be stuck with bangs that curl up the minute you step out the door. It might not be a good idea.

I would say, don't do it! My best friend did it after I encouraged her to try bangs, but it just didn't work. She has extremely curly frizzy hair and the bangs were just a frizzy mess. It looked awful, so she ended up growing them back out.

sure, it's possible

though i don't think i've ever seen someone with bangs and really curly hair who didn't look like an idiot

and if you straighten them out while the rest of your hair is curly, you're gonna look like a sad 90s reject

but do what ya want, it's your hair

i have very curly hair, not as curly as yours sound and everyone told me it wouldnt work but it did fine! just blow dry from wet with serum and straighten if needed, maybe because of the weather a side fringe would be better? humidity doesnt sound too bad but if you get sweaty on your forhead then i guess that would be bad!
