DO NOT POP THEM!!!
Unless of course you want scars.
or large inflated pores.
grosser than a pimple for a week.
A gentle cleanser is great, neutrogena makes one, i use Cetophil, its great.
any mask type thing with sulpher is great for taking out redness/inflammation.

I use Neutrogena Rapid Clear on spots at night, during the day use an acne-fighting concealer. Almay and Revlon make good ones that fight blemishes.

She probobly used a whitening or special treatment kind of toothpaste. I pretty much always use toothpaste for really bad pimples, and I once made that mistake... I had a giant red crater in my head for the next week. But if you use just regular toothpaste - no special stuff added - it should be fine.
