can'tseem to find anything on the internet so i thought you guys might know
is there any way of finding out which uk eyeliner/makeup manufacturers test on animals? i know its supposed to be almost phased out by 09... but are any still doing it? just wanna know for the type of things you can buy from a chemist; rimmel, etc. should it say if its tested on animals? what would it say?
i don'tknow anything.

Urban decay do that amazing glitter one, and they don't test.

I did a project on this in school. I can't remember which companies they were but I know that two popular high street brands refused to say whether or not they tested on animals. I just asked an assistant in Boots and she got the information for me there and then, I think it's quite a common question.

Edit: Oh and most companies that DON'T Test on animals are usually proud to put that on their lables. Those that do, obviously, don't.

But you'd be surprised what is tested on animals. Laundry soap, hand soap, face wash, shampoo, even ANIMAL FOOD, lots of everydays things. It was hard, but my household is animal tested product free.
