I told my hair guy - nothing subtle, I want dramatic! And not to worry if it's too much for an "every day" look - I can always dye over it in a couple of weeks.

I dunno, I've just never been one to go the highlight route, although I do like them on other girls. For various reasons, I'm throwing down this weekend - highlights, gonna get me some weird disco nails and I has me all kinds of weird outfits. Can't wait.

I have dark brown hair and I'm thinking blonde highlights mixed with maybe a red or auburn? ya

Go with auburn and blonde.

Blonde and red highlights have always reminded me of ketchup chips.

The greatest asset they all have is themselves. And yet does anybody promote that to them? Does anybody tell them that they are the greatest asset they have? Or are they steered to idol worship? Are they moved, are they motivated, are they inspired to look at the president or any politician as their only salvation? If they are, it's just a shame.

The only thing with dramatic highlights is, if you decide you lalalove them, they're harder to maintain.
So just ask your stylist what the best route would be for the most dramatic look without having to come in every month for touch-ups.
