I think a trip to the salon or a stylist will really help you out. they know how to really cut hair like this or like that to make it look like this or that. :P But I am sure some kind of hair serum or hair care products are put on the hair to make it tame and frizz free. i would be wary of razoring your hair. i had it done and it fucked my hair up for a least 2 years before it grew out. if you hair is fine, don't do it. if not then carry on.

yay! turns out i know someone who knows someone who just finished hair school and is now hired by this REALLY nice salon, but said salon wants them to do a trial/asst period first, and practice cuts for them after hours.

so this is a free haircut, from someone still learning a bit.
it's JUST the cut. no blow out. no wash/treatments, no color
and just haircuts usually run 80-110$.

so, should i tip still?
i feel like i should. even though the cut is free, i should atleast tip?
and in that instance, how much is appropriate?
can i tip 10$.

it is an apt. after store closing, with just this one lesbian chick who talks really fast, and then the salon owner is gonna come check it out after.
