Salons use a particular type of conditioner immediately after chemical processing that stops the oxygenation of the dye, perm solution, relaxer, etc and seals the colour/treatment you just had. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the conditioner ATM but do you live near a "SALLY" or some other place that supplies to the hairdressing trade? If so, go in there and describe what I just described to you, they should be able to locate exactly the conditioner I'm talking about. You can't buy it in salons or at stores, you need to go to somewhere that supplies hairdressers and salons specifically, the conditioner completely neutralises the chemical process and seals the cuticle, leaving your hair in impeccable condition. I had a huge bottle of it and used it once a week as a deep conditioning treatment, I need to find this out myself - it worked better than any over the counter deep conditioner I've ever known.
