Unhappy Hair falling out

Ok right, this probably won't get me anywhere but I'm getting really scared all my hair is falling out. It only started about a month ago and it just seems to be coming out all the time. I look noticeably balder and don't know what to do. I haven't change any hair products or my diet or been stressed more than normal or anything. Has anyone got any ideas as to why or what I can do to help? It's not just regular aging baldness as it isn't localised and both my dad and my mum's brother still have quite a bit of hair (i'm going on the older males on both sides of my family). URGH!

sometimes hair patterns are much different than family members.

it could be a reaction to dyes, product etc. or diet. is it coming out in large chunks or just thining?

maybe you should see your doctor, just in case.

It's just thinning really rapidly all over. I've not changed any dye or product or anything, and it's not breaking off it's actually coming out at the root. I am, excuse the pun, tearing my hair out trying to figure it ou.

I have to sign up to a doctor's as I don't have one and then that'll take ages for me to see one. I think you're in Canada right? I've never had a nice experience with a doctor here in the UK in my entire life. So I'm not holding out much hope. I know it sounds lame, but I can't sleep properly or anything.

Thanks for you reply though

well if you don't want to put your trust in conventional medicine, i suggest trying what sunday said, kelp supplements, as well as silica and vitamin d.

you could try buying a natural shampoo that will stimulate scalp circulation (thereby stimulating hair growth) such as lush's new shampoo bar. it's red and smells cinnamon-y.

scalp massage is another option, you can purchase oils which will stiumulate circulation, and mix them with a carrier oil. do some research into which would suit your hair/skin etc.

good luck
