I thought I'd test one of the many eyelash growth products on the market that claim to give you longer, thicker and fuller eyelashes to mimic a false lash effect.
The most expensive I saw was by Lilash which is full of chemicals and retails at £80 but apparently gives amazing results. I thought I'd give a cheaper and naturally produced one a go by Ardell for 5 quid which contains wheatgerm and proteins and has gotten some great reviews.
You apply it every night for a few weeks and away you go.
I'll let you know if it works or if it's bollocks.
I've tried Thalika (talika? sp?), which was a waste of money. I don't recommend it.
I actually think Rose & co salve helps more. Or any other mineral oil/beeswax salve. Just don't wear it at night if you're acne prone, because it'll smear and give you pimples. It's nice to wear once in a while when you're having a make-up free day though. I also find taking vitamin b supplements makes my lashes grow out quicker.
And it seems like some mascaras are gentler on the lashes than other mascaras. I started wearing maybelline lash stiletto a while ago and have hardly had any shedding since then.
