I have sensitive, dry-combination skin that sometimes breaks out in horrendous acne, particularly on my chin. Right now I'm "recovering" from one of those breakouts.

I think it's basically a combination of humid summer weather, sun exposure, using sunscreen, stress and eating too much sugar.

And in addition to all this I can't ever seem to find a cleanser that works for me. Creamy wipe-off cleansers clog my pores, and rinse-off cleansers invariably dry out my skin. Right now I'm using a rinse-off cleanser from the pharmacy which is ok, but still quite drying and I want something that is NOT DRYING AT ALL but at the same time is not very oily...

I've tried MD skincare fruit-acid cleanser too and it left my face feeling like reptile skin.

the WITCH range is good and Superdrug do a Witch Hazel/Tea Tree Oil combo also good and cheap. my skin is ultra oily, and the witch hazel products are pretty good at keeping it in check.

DON'T USE WITCH HAZEL ON DRY OR SENSITIVE SKIN

shu uemura does a really good cleansing oil.



or invest in a good moisturiser to replenish your skin after using a liquid cleanser.
