It's not a home remedy, but there's this moisturizing conditioner by Samy that works for me when my hair feels extra dry. You can get it at CVS, Target, etc. It doesn't have waxes in it, so it doesn't make my hair feel gross or slimy afterwards...

i use pantene colour revival leave in moustiuriser.

but for home remedies, a friend of mine swears by hot oil treatments. you heat up some olive oil in the microwave, put it in your hair, put a towel around your hair and leave it for about ten minutes. then wash your hair as usual.

I use cling wrap, it doesn't wreck the towels and you can pretend you're an alien. Everyone's a winner

haha i use both. cling wrap first, then a towel over the top.
and yeah, olive oil is really good for your hair. surprisingly.
