Semi permanent Hair Color

Anyone know a good semi permanent hair color? I have been coloring my hair red for over a year now and I hate the way it fades. After about two weeks I want to color it again. The color is always to faded just to touch up my roots too. I thought this way I could dye it more often and limit the Damage to my hair. Also my hair is Naturally dark brown dyed a orange-red color.

i bought natural instincts for brunettes (says something on the box about not causing brassiness) and i accidentally put it all over my bangs when i was really just trying to get the roots. and this was 2 weeks ago and it's still too dark and won't wash out no matter how much i try to get it out. so that brand is probably a good one for staying longer than 2 weeks without fading. they have ones that aren't for brunettes too if you're looking for a reddish color.

i have an appointment on saturday to get it fixed. it looks ridiculous that i have nearly black hair around my bangs and then light brown and blond highlights through the rest down to my back. it's pretty bad.

You probably have hair like mine that doesn't hold shit except professional grade dye. I have been box dying my hair the past year about every 3/4 weeks bc of the fading. and I've spent more on box dye than 2 trips to my salon w/ a cut and color. So sometimes its just more worth it to go to a stylist.

If that's a no still, and you're american... stay away from feria, and shit I can't remember the brand but they have my favorite color called black cherry. Its a green/yellowish box. Its a beautiful color but lasts like 2 weeks and then turns into copper red

the only reason i kept using feria was because i liked that black. they are the only ones that get black right. except it doesn't stay ever.
