| | | Palmer's do a cream specifically for stretch marks, I haven't actually smelled it, but I'd assume it's like the Cocoa Butter they do. |

| | | It worked for me! I used queen helene's natural cocoa butter creme, it's supper thick, and now my stretch marks are a white color, don't know if the actual scar will ever go away, but it looks better than it did. Also works nice as a moisturizer on my legs after shaving, and it's super cheap. |

| | | a friend of mine from sierra leone swears by cocoa butter for stretch marks. her grandmother used to make some kind of homemade beauty product that contained it. this friend also said she smoothed it on her belly everyday during her pregnancy and she never got even one stretch mark. of course, it could be that she is genetically predisposed that way and thus wasn't going to get any stretch marks regardless of any preventative measures she took, but she has told me that when my time comes, use the stuff every single day without fail. |

It works ..I have it. Smells good too....like cocoa butter. The trick is to use it everyday. Its only a temporary solution. Stretch marks are breaks in the skin ligaments - tiny tears - they are like scars. The Palmers cream or lotion will make them appear to shrink them down. The best time to put it on is right after you shower. |

| | | I only have a small amount of the light stretch marks -- nothing purple or darker than my skin -- but the cocoa butter doesn't do anything for them. I love it as a moisturizer though, especially after shaving. |

| | | Where can you by raw cocoa butter?
Shea butter is also great for stretch marks. The Body Shop has a Cocoa Butter Sitck to prevent them, I've been told it works wonder. |

| | | it smells nice, but in my experience it doesn't get rid of them.
as BoxByTheBed said, i think it might only help prevent so it can't hurt to use it anyway | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
