i know there's tutorials out there, but it's hard to find good ones.
i got penultimate mac liner and i would like to perfect my every day cat eye. i think i can make it look all right but it still seems a bit off.
ARE there specific guidelines as far as your eye shape and where to put the lines in accordance to your lid and lashline, etc?
for example there's the more flippy uppy
and then we have marianne faithful
where it's going almost downward.
or you can talk about how she just lies there and stares into space and how much better that is than beyonce and etc.

when i do mine flippy uppy, i do the line on the lid, and then i do a dot where i want the point to be, and then i draw a line from kind of the bottom of the line ive drawn on my lid out to it, and a line from the top of the line on my lid to the dot too so they sort of make a triangle shape
that really really doesnt make sense, but do you get what i mean?
and when i do it sort of straight out, or downward i just sort of hold the brush more horizontal to my eye when im at the edge of my lid?
penultimate is like a felt tip liner right? cause i use a felt tip kind of one from bourjois called liner feutre that is amaaaazing, so if you dont like yr mac one i recommend it
also ruby and millie but i dont think you get that in the states?
practice with a shit brand
eventually you'll find the right eye

That's the whole trouble. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "Fuck you" right under your nose.” - J. D. Salinger
why do some people do the liner ABOVE the actual eye line?
like, ABOVE their eyelashes? i do it right on that line of lashes
do you know what i mean? i wonder why they do that
