so recently got some eyeshadow primer and that shit is goooood

im pretty happy with my foundation (lily lolo mineral stuff) and it stays on pretty good, but just recently ive noticed it shifting a little as the day goes on - i work in a really stupidly hot office so i guess that's part of it

anyway, do any of you use foundation primer? if so, what? tell me about it. and post pics, cause everyone loves to see pics

i use model&co primer. i love it. makes my skin look nearly perfect.

i currently use Smashbox HD Primer in Green because i have redness.

most primers work pretty well, but you have to remember that you have to allow it to set. this is what most people forget.

i'm going to purchase a new foundation (Makeup Forever HD) soon hopefully and apparently it causes dry patches on certain skin (which mine is probably). what people need to realize is if your skin is dry or combination you need a (light) moisturizer, let it set. put a primer on... let that set. & then apply your foundation. that's the only way it's going to actually work properly.

of course you know some people don't need that regime, but if you feel like your primer/foundation combination isn't working you'll need to adjust your methods so that it will.


& sunday, what eyeshadow primer have you gotten? i usually swear by Urban Decay Primer Potion but i've been looking into Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

oh im using the too faced shadow insurance! i really love it, i dont know if it;s cause it's really really good, or cause ive never used one before so im just amazed at how much of a diff it makes - but yeah - i really like it. i had read up on the urban decay one, and people seemed to complain that the shape of the bottle meant you had to hack it open to get to half the product, so that's why i went for TF, but i love it

ive heard that makeup forever stuff is amazing, but i dont think i could bring myself to spend that much on slap, and im pretty happy with what i have.

i have redness too, imma see if any of the makeup stands in the fancy dept store in town carry it. that's half the reason i want one, when i get nose shiftage the redness comes through and i hate just slapping more makeup on
