| | | Lancome mascara? Is it as good as people say?
I've had quite a few people telling me it's the best mascara they've ever tried. Is it really that good? Worth the £24?
I usually use cheap mascaras like Bourjois. |

| | | which one are we talking about? I tried Hypnose and didn't like it very much, but it usually gets really good reviews.

| | | I don't actually rate Lancome mascaras all that much, hypnose was over hyped.
Bad Gal Lash by Benefit is way better as is Diroshow backstage Mascara, which also has the bonus factor of having a nice scent and a nice fat wand for jumbo lashes. Give them a whirl. |

| | | I use Definicils by Lancome and it really is very very good.
It's not a heavy mascara though. It doesn't give a dramatic effect. It's nice for every day because it really elongates the lashes.
And at night just add another layer... |

| | | I used to like Lancome mascaras, but I'm all about Estee Lauder now. For huge, gigantic lashes, their Magnascopic mascara can't be beat, but my favorite right now is Estee Lauder's DoubleWear mascara - it really, honest to god doesn't smudge, and unlike some non-smudge mascaras, it actually does make your lashes look bigger. I got a sample of it in a free gift, and I liked it so much I went out a couple days later and bought a full size tube. It's amazing, and it stays on my lashes ALL day without smudging. Even if I fall asleep with it on, I only wake up with a bit under my eyes, as opposed to a ton like with other mascaras.

| | | I was just about to make a thread about mascara - I've been using that Urban Decay one - bit fatty lashes or whatever it's called and it's cack. The wand is MASSIVE and it's really clumpy! |

| | | I've only used Estee Lauder ones for a while now and decided to buy Estee Lauder MagnaScopic on a whim. It's awful. Too clumpy and thick for my eyelashes. The Estee Lauder Projectionist is wonderful though <3
I'm totally going to try out Hypnose now though. |

| | my goal with mascara is for it to have a brush that separates the lashes so that it magnifies each and every one that's there. and i put like 40 coats on since mascara is one of my obsessions so it can't get thick or clumpy. my favorite was a cover girl one that i can't remember the name of but it's discontinued anyway so it doesn't matter. but i bought a trial size the other week at sephora of bad gal lash by benefit and i LOVE it. i'll definitely be going back for the full size tube. |

| | I just bought DiorShow Iconic, and I love it. It has rubber bristles that are arranged in twisted rows(if that makes sense), and it separates and gives volume, length and curl all at the same time, which are all the things I look for in a mascara
it was pricey but I thought it was worth it. I find that mascaras with rubber brushes last longer too (meaning that they don't dry out in the tube as quickly). |

| | | I've tried most of the Lancome mascara's and don't really rate them as anything special. I used to use Hypnose religiously but got pissed off with how quickly it dried up and it wasn't doing anything overly amazing to my lashes.
