| | | Help with moisturisers please! I was wondering if anyone could reccommend a good moisturiser for dry but oily skin. I've tried a few oil free moisturisers but they don't hydrate my skin nearly enough and I've been ending up up with dry flakey areas. So what I think I really need is something that will restore the moisture but not leave a residue on my skin.
I'm kind of looking to pay a medium to premium amount for something that will actually work. |

| | | I use Smashbox. Their tinted moisturizer is great because it gives you a bit of coverage if you do have a pimple or something but it moisturizes so well and it actually stays on. I'm in love with it. |

| | | The last few days I've been using the Simple Oil Balancing moisturiser.
I put it on in the morning, get on with my general morning stuff for a few minutes, and then if I have some dry/tight feeling patches I put rub a little more basic moisturiser on them (I've been using the Clinique dramatically different lotion because I have some, but you could probably use any) before I put on make-up.
I've yet to believe there is a genuine combination moisturiser that works. I just think putting on an oily skin/balancing one works for a start, and then a little of another one on your cheeks/mouth area/wherever you get dry patches, is the way forward.
As far as I can tell its the best for walking around as little in the way of spots and dry patches as you can get. Maybe even using an oily skin one and just having some lotion on standby incase you feel you need it. |

| | neutregena oil free moisturiser is good, but if you don't mind paying more you should get clinique dramatically different hydrating gel! their normal moisturiser is too heavy i find, but this one is so good.

| | | I use the Simple Oil Balancing Light Moisturiser. It's the best moisturiser I've found for my skin, I have an oily T-zone but can get dry skin on my cheeks. |

| | | Furlisitea you should try the website I gave. I have that same oily skin problem. But if you really dont want to change from what you use now choose the option of learning about additional recommendations when given the option - that might help. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
