| | | Ghd I am so in love with these. I just got my first ever pair and I was a bit dubious about spending 135 pounds on something that was just for straighteningbut WOW! when they turned up. They curl, straighten, flick, well if it can be done with hair these can do it.
I was just wondering if anyone had discovered any cool little tips that they can do or wether you see them as a waste of money? |

| | | To get waves, squeeze pigtails between the plates, running the ghds down the length of the pigtail. you can obviously adjust the size of the waves by doing more or less plaits.
Also, invest in a storage heat mat, because I stood on my old ghds. Don't use them on hair that is remotely wet or damp, and likewise, don't spray too much heat protection on beforehand. I've discovered a really really light spray of Paul Mitchell Heat Seal before you do a section works well with ghd's. Depending on how curly your hair is, you might want to blow dry it straightish first to save time. |

| | | they may cost a shed load but im on my 3rd or 4th pair now. everytime they stop working i send them back with a sad 'oh no yr wonderful amazing invention that i cant live without has broke' letter and within a week i get a new pair! do they have a lifetime guarantee policy or something? because if they do, thats great. |

All I remember is being really upset because some of the outer plastic came off and one of the plates was hanging from the handles. Well at least I learnt not to leave them on the floor A heat storage mat means you can wrap them up straight away, plus you can take it in your bag if you go away |
