going platinum blonde with live colour xxl

I am naturally medium blonde and want to go platinum so bought live colour absolute platinum. Has any one used this before, and was it any good?
Also I read that it makes your hair really porous so I cant dye it darker if I get bored of it, is there a way to improve the porosity of the hair?

i am naturally dark blonde and recently used that stuff to bleach my hair out before re-doing my red, i had about an inch of roots and those suckers were WHITE. i was kind of shocked cause i only left it on for about 20mins?
are you dyeing from your natural colour or is it coloured at the minute?

as for the porosity (is that even a word?!) thing, i'm not sure, but if you dont like it and want to go dark, as far as i know you have to do a filler, rather than just throw some brown in

my hair is currently virgin. I dont think porosity is a real word either but i read it some where and it was best how to put across what I was getting at and what is a filler?

porosity is a real word.

what a filler is:
when you bleach your hair, it removes the pigment and makes your hair porous. if you want the dark colour to stick to your hair after you bleach it, you should (but you don't have to, i didn't use one and it worked fine) use a filler to put the red pigments back into your hair and so the dark colour has something to grab onto, otherwise the colour will slide out when you wash it etc.

Ah right, I don't think I've seen these in shops. Can you reccomend me any fillers available in UK for future reference? Thank you
