| | | ocean hair spending days on an island, hanging out in the ocean and letting my hair dry naturally = best hair ever.
well, for me.
i have lots of very curly hair that loves the ocean and the natural drying that comes with the ocean air. it seems like it gives my hair texture and great curl hold. i can go days sleeping on it and it still looks great.
are there any products or techniques that can give you that?
without having to go to the beach, that is.

| | | In Trinidad and Tobago my hair didn't get anymore curly than it already is (I was majorly disappointed) but it definitely felt and looked nicer.
I would love a product that gave me that feel.

| | | Salt spray. I used to use one by GHD, it smelt a little odd though. I know bumble and bumble do one that ius meant to be good but I have never tried it because it was always sold out when I tried to buy it. Or you always just mix up some salt and water in a spay bottle. The bought ones have extra moisturising stuff in though to keep your hair good. |

I have a beachy spray from Avon Mark that is pretty good... | my hair was awesome in phoenix. i only had to straighten it one time the whole time i was there. usually with texas humidity if i straighten it its back to being curly within 10 hours. |

| | | I'm no professional, but I'm guessing just some water and salt in a spray bottle. I think though over time a lot of salt can be very damaging to your hair? |

i'll look into bumble and bumble. their products are expensive as all get out and it would suck if it sucked.
what/who is ghd?

| | | I thought salt would fuck up your hair? It gave me near dreadlocks when I was at the coast for a few weeks and had no access to clean water (in a large enough amount) to wash my hair properly. Also went really blonde. |

| | a couple years ago John Freida made a fabulous ocean-spray for hair under the 'sheer blonde' product line. it was in a clear bottle with turqoise liquid inside, that smelled like coconuts and sunshine. but i haven't seen it in a long long time.
but this one is pretty similar (but not as good): Sephora: Frederic Fekkai Summer Hair Beach Waves: Styling Products |
