Its either your eyes or your lips, right? I have been an eye-liner fan for years. I love liquid black eyeliner to death but I have the desire to concerntrate on my lips a bit more. I once wore red lipstick for my graduation ball and thats only because I wore a red dress.

Do you like just having lipstick and a bit of mascara? what colour lipsticks do you wear? if red, what red suits what skin?

I guess Im in a eyeliner trap. I feel horrid without eyeliner on but I would like to get away from this feeling/thought and grow confidence in wearing different types of make-up.

Flick your black liner to go with red lips, its delicate if you want to avoid any smokey eyes & lips goth combo.

I use dior's celebrity red. I'm pale as snow and prefer a slightly darker berry red lipsticks. The pillar box red ones don't suit me at all.

My mom wears black eyeliner and red lipstick, in my opinion it doesn't look half bad.
Red lipstick looks stupid on me, I usually wear black or rosy pink.
If I wear eyeliner I wear purple lipstick or lip gloss.

would you just do the top lid or with the bottom eye liner too?

when i want to change my look, i ask a friend who's make up i like to do mine. most ppl take it as a real compliment, to be asked.

other people see you differently,so try something new, wear it around for a while to see how you feel about it.

sephora used to do make overs. i offered a saleswoman a tip to make up my eye brows, & her boss told us that it's against the rules. i should have come back when they were closing, and asked then. the make up artist could have done it for me outside of the store.

try a dept. store make over. don't feel pressured to buy anything. you can tip, if you really like the result. good luck!

For day wear or evening just do the top lid, mascara on your bottom lid helps and evens it out the bottom half.

To be honest, i do both depening on the mood, i dont think there's anything wrong with smokey eyes and red lipstick. I think its just one of those things that either comes down to your own personal style as to wether it works or not.

if you're just trying out darker lip sticks i'd just do the top liner flicked out. Dita von teese is a good example, i think it must be her daily staple

If you've got long lashes, you could probbaly get away without any liner, just lots of mascara.

I were red lips most days, and on my eyes I put shimmery eye shadow or maybe one with a slight tinge of gold like MAC 'honesty' I think it's called? Then I put MAC fluidline gel eye liner stuff on the top of my eyelid with no eyeliner on the bottom, and lots of mascara. I would never wear obvious eyeshadow with red lips!

I wear top eyeliner and a bold lip almost everyday.

For my lips I wear Russian Red, Ruby Woo or MAC Red....all by MAC.

For brighter lips I use Eager or Rocking Chick. I also wear some purples and a bit of oranges.

Basically I stay away from deep dark brown lipstick but love bright bold lips.

gel eye liner? how is that compaired to liquid? I may get some of that.

It is so amazingly beyond liquid eyeliner, it is mega easy to apply with a long brush and it lasts all day! seriously suggest you try it

Is it good from the inner lid of your eye (did that make sense?, or is it the rim of your eye?) I had the smashbox version and its awful. It dries really quickly and flakes into your eye . I wanted something that would stay put and not create black eye bogeys!!

The bit under your eyelashes? I can't put stuff there because it tickles like hell!!

YES. the only make up i use on my eyes is mascara. i hate eyeliner voz i look like an idiot wearing it.

i have big lips so i use lipstick all the time. i love reds, browns, purples. the vamp style. it suits me a lot.
