| | | Cosmetic tattoos/ Permanent makeup Tattoos that imitate makeup.
I've been addicted to eyeliner since the sixth grade. I wear it everyday that I don't want to look like crap. But it smudges and fades and is a pain to put on so I've been thinking about getting it tattooed on. It's not that expensive and lasts 3-5 years.
Has anyone had this done or know someone who has? |

| | | I'd only be tempted for eyeliner and eyebrows.
Lip liner is just a bad idea. Imagine getting up one day, needing to nip to the store for milk/cigs/whatever, and knowing that you're going to have to put lippy on for just that, so that you don't look daft. Pfft.
How ridiculously painful would it be to have it done so close to your eyes though?

| | | I've considered getting my eyebrows filled in a little because they're black and my Luke Perry line is hella annoying. I think if you got eyeliner tattoos, you should maybe get them in gray or brown (or at least nothing more intense than the girl in the picture here). You don't want to look overly done up for the daytime, and you can always put on more eyeliner for evenings out. |

| | | I've heard that eyeliner hurts A LOT. I can only imagine. All my regular tattoos hurt like a bitch. Can you imagine getting tattooed right on your eyelid?
I would never get any permanent cosmetics except for eyebrows. I do have to pencil in my eyebrows every day and I hate it. I'd love to have it tattooed on. But anything else seems just stupid. My makeup varies depending on my mood. I would never want the same eyeliner or lipliner on all the time. |

| | | I would never get this. For me, make-up is something I don't wear everyday and I like it that way.

| | | my friend's mom got the eyeliner and brows done in slate grey. (she's blonde). It was not done well, one side was thicker than the other. It looked like dry, three day old liquid liner.
She said the woman who tattooed her would be willing to fix it, but i don't know if she did or not. As for the pain, I didn't ask.
I'd love to do my eyebrows & eyeliner, but I change my hair color a lot. And eyebrow and make up styles change. If only it could be semi-perminent, like a few months. |

| | | Eyebrows is the only sensible thing!
Putting on make-up is fun! There may be a situation where you can't wear make-up, well maybe that's just me worrying, sometimes in auditions you aren't allowed make-up. |

| | | Hmm.
It looks stupid when you have no make up on, when you're old it'll look horrible (look at Jackie Stallone, I also have an aunt with it and it's gross :|) and it must hurt like hell. |

| | | Looks too halarious to bother with. Sometimes it can enhance features and make them look great but 99% of the time it's fugly... Especially eyebrows done to dark or well the eyeliner actually is rather boring, i like changing my make up and whatnot...
Not o mention my skin tones change too drastically through one year for me to go with one colour for my whole life tattooed on my face. Not too mention I have too much fun with make up. |

| | | i hadn't thought of that. yes, it would cover the tatt to some extent.
you'd have to take a q-tip, and remove some make up, even if the eyeliner is jet black, it wouldn't look right. not worth the trouble.
my friend's mom,- her hands shook a little, that's why she had it done. |

| | | I don't think it's a wise move, especially considering our faces kind of drop as we age. Can you imagine having a tatooed eyebrow heading south when you're 60 and ending up near your eye? So not a good look.
It's harsh too kind of like porno stripper chiquita latina homegirl 90's liquor store look, all black lip liner and pink frosted lips. *Shudders* |

| | | i would never do it.
i like putting make up on, and sometimes i like seeing a make-up-less-me in the mirror.
i would never tatoo some make up! if the tatoo is bad, well, it's in your face for a long time!

| | | i would get 'eyeliner' on my top lids, as i do that everyday anyway.
however, imagine how hard that is for the person doing the tattoo? one blink and you could have a needle through your eye.. i'd get my eyebrows done though. that would be cool, never having to fill my eyebrows in. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
