60 vol peroxide

does anyone use it? I'm contemplating it for my nig hair.

even an hour on the roots using 30 vol only gets them light gold. i dont think 40 would be enough to get them white in one hit either.

or is it some sort of strictly highlights only thing?

test the timescales on the nether regions first, then finalise on your underarms and armpit hairs.

i know all of that

it's just that i can't ever get my roots to a light enough yelling in one touch up, and it's kinda gross to have it overlapping..

people warn against stronger peroxides but my hair seems to be the exception.. i'm just wondering if 60 really would make a difference, or if it would aimlessly fry the shite out of my hair. (which is in quite good shape considering it's been bleached 6-7 times in the last month)

the toner i'm using is fucking excellent brilliant silver white

boy hairdresser

they say anything over 30 shouldn't be used at the scalp, but like that's going to stop you.

do you put anything like a thick towel over? because the warmth of your scalp can help the bleaching at the roots. wear a wooly hat.

haha, i usually use gladwrap or some plastic film crap

i'm gonna give the 60 a shot actually. i'll just keep checking it every 5 minutes..

i lubs having white hair, the yellow roots kinda ming it up though. black is doable. ginger is not. being a ginger is a crime.

do the warmth thing though, over the gladwrap, it makes a big difference. when i was bleaching myself my roots were much lighter because of this

just as a cautionary tale, i bleach my hair all the time and while my hair never, ever fries: my scalp has whenever i've used sixty vol. sixty vol peroxide with powder bleach actually blisters my scalp. so like, beware.

I think the stuff I have is 40, although I was going to buy at the time I bought it because my hair was dyed black. I just bleached the fuck out of it several times in a row, waited a couple weeks and did it again.

I'm dying my hair purposely ginger this weekend. Ginger hair is rad.

Anyhow, 60 vol peroxide shouldn't be put on your scalp. It can cause severe blistering, chemical burns and be terribly painful. If your hair is already fried i wouldn't recommend it.
I wouldn't recommend it at all to be honest. havng checked up on the internet no higher than 20 Vol should be used on the scalp.

According to professionals nothing higher than 20 should be used.
I used to bleach my hair white when i was at school. I remember sitting in I.T. picking large clumps of scalp from my head due to chemical burning.
That and the blistering around my hair line.
Oh boy, i'm glad i'm some what 'sensible' now.
