Exclamation Help!!!!!??

I drunkenly fell over last night and now have this huge, red, scabby THING all down one side of my face. My flatmate says it looks like a big, scabby lovebite. It's really sore and gross. Everyone's been staring at it all day!!

ANYWAY, I have an important night tomorrow night!!! What can I do? Is there any way I could take the redness out of it, or anything which promotes faster healing?

And I'm worried about makeup. Because it hasn't all scabbed over yet ( ) and some of it's still sort-of open and ...fleshy...so I think putting moisturiser on it would STIIIIING soooo much and make it even worse and also I've seen people who've tried to cover up cold sores with makeup and it looks aaaawful!!!

Okay I know I'm not going to have got rid of it by tomorrow, obviously, and I know there's no way of hiding it

I was just hoping for some tips on maybe calming it down...and maybe how I might be able to use makeup or something to at least stop it being the very first thing you notice about me!!!!

Okay, geniuses. Thanks for your thoughts in advance!!!

neosporin.

well then glampetals was like DON'T PUT IT ON YOUR FACE.

prolly bc the cocoa butter will clog pores, but i mean.

it has nice secret ingredients that not everyone knows about. like cooca butter and vitamin e and such. well as long as you get the brand name.

helps heal cuts 4 days faster BUT ALSO helps prevent scarring.

in the meantime you're pretty fucked.

i always have drunk bitch injuries that i have to tend to.

HTH!!!

Band-aid? Give an accident look to it. You can stick a band-aid somewhere else too and have a good story to tell if someone asks. Mind you, it's probably gonna make people more curious then they would if they thought it was just a lovebite.

You can also wear a top that will cover it up a bit. But is it really ON your face or going down your neck a little?

Ladies, thank you one and all for your thoughts.

After some experimenting, I went with GlamPetals' 'no makeups' advice and I think this was best. Also bought some baby lotion (was this what you were getting at?!) and have been slathering that on and it's stopping it looking being peely/scabby/itchy/minging.

I told everyone I'd been in a fight, and "yer should see the other bitch - cos she can't see you!!!". Most people instantly knew this to be barefaced lies, but one or two started to see me in a whole new psychotic light

Thanks again!!!!!
