i know that powder was seen as not a good look for a while, but i feel it's comming back in a big way - and it can really look good, especially for photos etc.... are there skin types who should avoid powder?

also what powder do you use.... i've heard the new estil lauder "illuminator" is a good one to use right now.

you should use mineral makeup if you are going to wear powder - it doesnt contain talc which is usually what gives the dead matt look. the nicest hight street one i've found is l'oreal but i think it actually does have a little talc, other than that there's a looovely online brand called lily lolo - you can buy little sample pots pretty cheap to get an idea of the right shade etc
