Hairdo (extensions) by Jessica Simpson and Ken Paves

so my friends had this 22" hair thing from the Simpson/Paves line and it looked really good. it gave her longer and fuller hair.

Yesterday we went to the store she got it at and looked for one to match my hair. We found what seemed to be a perfect match (the lady at the salon said so as well).
But then i came home and actually put it in (in the salon we just held a strip of it to my hair) and it looked absolutely horrendous. the color was so wrong.
we went back to the store to exchange it but then the lady of the salon also said that if that one didn't match none of the others would either cos that was the closest one.

I was really bummed cos they look great on my friend

she has dark hair though, no nuances or anything...so that's easy to match.
My hair is dark blonde with natural highlights so that's more difficult...

I just got fusions done. A friend did them for me, he went to beauty school for a bit yes, but they don't teach fusions, he just learned by reading stuff online. They came out really nice, You can't even feel them on your head!

they are also really cheap to buy the hair on ebay. at sallys 100 strands is 110$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this site has them for 55$ for 200 strands, and the strands are thick, I have thin hair and it took me 175 strands to do my entire head. If you have thicker hair it can take anywhere from 300-400 strands. Still, affordable compared to getting it done in a salon where it can cost 350$ or more plus the cost of the hair.

here is a pic of my hair with the extensions. everyone irl is telling me they look so natural. I absolutely adore them:

Also, here is the ebay page to the extension selling guy, maybe they have a shade close to your or that can be dyed close to yours? I checked and they have several different shades of blonde. Also, it seems to me that the hair they use is not all EXACTLY the same color, my hair is black (off black) but it seems to look multi-tonal (though you can't tell in the pic). so that might help?

eBay Seller: real thing really: Women's Accessories, Handbags, Clothing, Shoes Accessories items on eBay.com
