Even though I obviously haven't texted back yet to actually confirm I'll be there...I'm quite excited and am having lovely visions of spending tomorrow afternoon embroiled with hot oil conditioners and pots of lovely-smelling lotions and potions...but what can I do now to look lovely?

drink lots of water, it'll help flush any crap out of your system and help refresh your skin
sleep lots!
splash your face with cold water as well, it helps boost circulation and gives it a bit of colour.
maybe try some of those brightening eye drops? i had some a while ago and they really helped me, my eyes always look tired in a morning and they did wonders to refresh me. they might be worth doing just before you do your make up. =]

Also whats good is when you put conditioner in your hair wrap cling film around it and leave the conditioner in for an hour and a half, it makes your hair super shiny if you do that.

Exfoliate my skin, wax if I need to, give myself a manicure and pedicure, and maybe take a bubble bath.

Don't use a mask that you've never used before. You could wind up with a red, irritated, or broken out face.

I like using John Frieda's glaze for extra shiny smooth hair on special occasions (I don't use it 3x a week like the bottle says). But based on reviews a lot of people hated it, especially people with fine or thin hair or people who were expecting it to actually color their hair.

Use an AHA body lotion like vaseline intensive care healthy body complexion (neutrogena's skin smoothing actually exfoliates the best but it smells disgusting and stinks up your sheets if you sleep in it). Then tomorrow, exfoliate in the shower with a loofah, puff, or washcloth, and use a really rich body lotion. Your skin will be more even and glowing.

Of course, drink tons of water and get sleep. Sleep in lingerie and perfume. It won't make you look different but it'll make you feel sexy and that makes all the difference.

and the bubble bath was a great idea, haven't had a long bath for ages. I decided to get clever hehe and put a few drops of perfume in the water, then put matching body lotion on hehe HOPEFULLY I'll smell sweet from across a table in a smokey pub (and not strong enough to knock a man out at ten paces!)

A plain yoghurt face mask is amazing - if you have some, splash a tiny bit of almond oil in and mix it thoroughly. Smear it on, let it dry, and wash it off. It leaves your skin fine and clear and glowy and the pores really tiny and clear.
