A few years ago my sister had an allergic reaction to something (we still don't know what) which caused her eyebrows and eyelashes, and the front of her hairline, to fall out. It doesn't look like her lashes will ever grow back, but her hair's come back fine, and her eyebrows have slowly but surely started to grow back in.

The problem is, she can't get used to her eyebrows, and she keeps plucking them to a horribly thin line. She's quite dark-skinned, with dark brows that are very obviously overplucked. She looks surprised all the time and they look really chavvy, which isn't her all the time.

Anyway, I wondered if I could get her a posh little eyebrow care/grooming kit, to help restore her confidence, and let her get used to having healthy eyebrows. They really do look silly at the moment, but I don't want to seem critical and knock her confidence, as she's already feeling pretty low.

Can anyone recommend a good kit or some good brow gels and things? I'd like some brow stencils in there preferably, so she can see how her brows should look. I'm a student, so the ones on ASOS.com and the like are far too pricey!

For now just give her an eyebrow pencil (if its that bad)

they have a loot of eyebrow growth and eyelash growth things, why dont you try alll of those? they have some by the brand "talika"

It's not that it's bad now, it's just she plucks them too much because she's not used to them being there.

She was absolutely devastated when they first fell out - her hairline was worst because it didn't fall out, just became incredibly brittle and itchy, and she was too young and stubborn to deal with it sensibly. She refused to cut her nails, so when she was asleep she'd scratch at the itchy scalp until she broke off all the hair follicles

She has eyebrows now...they're just horribly overplucked 'cos she's not used to having them anymore.

I just want to get her used to the idea of having full, well-shaped eyebrows.
