How do I cut my own hair? Long and layered?

Is it even possible to cut hair oneself if I want long hair with long layers?
How would I do this?
Im confused about how to cut layers?
and how to get texturing

I wouldn't if I were you ...get a pro..I have long layers and an angle .. no way would I attempt to do it myself.

i think i agree. i can do my bangs to a certain extent and some color.

Get those layering scissors. Or go to a pro. Personally, I'd prefer the scissors.
