haha. lame. but those who are growing their hair long can come here and bitch about their hair not growing (fast enough) or any other hair problems and you can give hair care and hair growth tips and stuff.

I cut my hair short (à la Winona Ryder in Girl Interrupted) a year and a half ago because my hair was really messed up from dying and bleaching several times and my hair is naturally dry so it was really not good.
Now my hair is a little past my shoulders. I think there's no more dye in it but it's hard to tell because my natural hair color is this darkish blond but it gets a lot lighter in the summer so I dunno. I think there may be some dye left in the tips making those parts of my hair more porous so they got lighter because of the sun.

I want to grow my hair at least to mid-back length, maybe even longer (waist?). I have nicely thick hair. It's way but I can easily make it straight or curly.

It tends to be dry but I tak really good care of it and I take brewer's yeast daily so now it's actually looking very good ad even my hairdresses said my hair is extremely healthy and naturally shiny. First time anyone ever said that to me! I was so happy. lol

I really recommend taking brewer's yeast! It really makes my hair grow faster and makes my hair healthier and shiny!

I'm letting my natural hair color grow out. Without coloring the rest like my own color, so it's two colored now. I don't mind. And I have a chelsea I'm probably gonna let grow out without trimming it again. My (very dark) hair grows pretty fast, that troubled me back when i used to bleach it.

I'm growing my hair out as well at the moment, I want it much longer than it is now.
I had really long hair in the end of last year but then did a hair modelling job where they chopped most of it off so it became really,
really short - I only agreed to do it because i was paid £100.

only the back was much shorter than on the picture. It's such a bitch to grow out because the sides are so short and slanted,
and my hair seems to be groing ridiculously slow.
I also had to bleach it to get the black part out. ugh.

i'm trying to grow mine out too. last year i wanted choppy layers and the stylist razored my hair and now it is frizzy and i have split ends all over. i've been trying to grow it out for a long time but everytime i go to get it cut they have to chop a good portion of it off because it's so damaged.

I'm growing my hair out too, it takes forever but its getting there. I've been getting a little trim on the ends about every 6 months, just to erase the dead ends. I really want to get highlights again but I'm going to avoid dying it, I do too much damage styling it as it is.

That's what I'm doing too.. getting trims often to kill the old, dead, chemically treated/dyed/split ends hair. I'm taking Hair Vitamins everyday and treating my hair very good.. I don't straighten it anymore only on the weekends when I go somewhere. My only problem right now are my bangs.. they aren't long enough to be parted like people can with really long hair but they are too long because they annoy my eyes..

My hair is just on my shoulders now and i want it right to my bra strap. Im never over bleaching my hair again... well for a while anyway!

I really need a lot trimmed off, however im scared of loosing my little bit of length again!

I first cut my long hair off a couple years ago, and cried afterwards. I told myself that I'd let it grow out, only to get annoyed with the awkward in-between phases and ended up cutting it short a couple more times. Now I'm dedicated and DETERMINED to let it grow. It's taking forever, but I'm trying to be patient. It's almost touching my shoulders.... the only way I can really tell it's growing is when my roots start showing up.

i miss my long hair

I've been growing my hair out for about a YEAR now and I swear it's not even growing anymore People who I haven't seen in ages tell me "oh your hair's long now" but it's NOT URGHHHH

haha I kinda want to cut it short though, because I'm bored of it. But I know I'll regret it if I do.

i am cutting all my hair off short in like 2 weeks

yeah i'm growing old colour out too, just had a good few inches cut off and now it's kind of short, dont really like it but i want it long but a nice colour and in good condition.

i got a really nice bob last november that suited me. But i just HATE not putting my hair up in a pony tail. So i'm growing it. It's growing fast but the length its at is so annoying. It's just past my shoulders excpet i want the layers to be cut out and they're taking forever to even reach my shoulders. grrrrr.

Iv'e always had bangs but I had friends who decided to grow them out, and I heard its a real pain because they're always in the way. I know I always get so annoyed when they're in my eyes and I have to trim them, haha.

I'm growing my hair at the moment, it's all different lengths, I want it to be longer so I can trim the bad ends off because if I do that now it'll be annoyingly short .
I've been gluing in hair extensions every once in a while which just makes me want longer hair even more! It always seems to grow faster when I don't particularly want it to .

arr i'm trying to grow my hair too.
it's just past shoulder length now, but i want it to be LONG for once, down past my boobs. because shoulder length just looks so PLAIN on me when it's in my natural colour (red). The other problem of that is that I really can't dye it anymore, it's been bleache dand pinked and alsorts over the past year, and it really isn't happy hair anymore. I want to get it trimmed to keep it nice and healthy, but i know it'll only depress me to see my hair making negative growth progress!
P.S. what are these hair vitamins? and where can i get my hands on some? sounds like what i need to cheer up my hair. =)

i never know what to do with the fringe with long hair. whats other long haired peoples fringe area like..? ha
