I'm never sure whether to put an apostrophe in. I know there should be one, but I don't think they have them on the signs. Anyway - I just wanted to complain about Boots being so overpriced and to warn people away from it...and to get everyone to bitch about it.

I went in today with my mum to get some new Clinique moisturiser and it was £26 - expensive, but that's sort of what you get with Clinique (we assumed.) Then we walked off down the street only to pass a Superdrug selling it almost £10 cheaper!! Ten pounds! It makes me so sad when I think what that could have bought me. And I got charged £30 because my university's standing order to my bank account didn't work, those cunts. AAAAAGH losing so much money at the moment.

Anyway...we went back and said we'd just seen it in Superdrug for £10 less to sort of see if they'd let us return it (bit of a tenuous hope but worth a try, i think it says something about a good returns policy on their receipts) but clearly it didn't do anything. So I have got my mum to write them an angry letter. She likes writing angry letters.

So the moral of the story is: GRR I HATE BOOTS. And Nottingham Hospitality, but that's not quite so related.

Couldn't you just return it, then go and buy the cheaper one? And yes, what a ripoff.

They wouldn't let me! Even though we'd bought it like 2 minutes ago.

I think Boots are overpriced. I had a Christmas job there, like, five years ago and I remember being, like, ten minutes late and nobody said anything so I started to push my luck. By the end of my time there, I was rolling in an hour late and getting paid for the full shift. If that makes you feel any better?! *shakes fist* the big bastards!

Haha, good point. I got confused - we were walking to WHSmiths and passed a Superdrug. Thanks for noticing, I'll edit that so I don't look like such a fool and so that people don't get confused.
