aloe vera

I've been wanting to try aloe vera on my face, as I've heard it is very good for red/sensitive skin.
Is the original aloe vera juice which they sell in Holland and Barret suitable for that?
Does anyone use aloe vera, and if so, then in what form do you use it?
Jiuce, cream.... recommendations, would be greatly appreciated.

i swear by aloe vera gel on my face. it's really great. i use the gel, you can by it anywhere, one thing though, they sell green aloe vera gel, and clear aloe vera gel. make sure you get the clear stuff, as it's got no additives at all. also, make sure you don't get any that have alcohol. i made that mistake once.

I bought the clear aloe vera gel once and it just didn't feel right on my face. It felt kind of sticky and tight. I'm just used to regular moisturizer I guess, it feels better to me.

actually aloe vera gel's not supposed to be used alone, especially for the people with dry skin, but you can mix the gel with your regular moisturizer or use the gel instead of toner, then use the moisturizer after it.

Aha! I'll try that then. But I swear, someone on KR said to just use it like a moisturizer.
