laser hair removal

whats laser like? has anyone other than shyviolet gotten it done?

does laser hurt?

i have black hair so it will be easy for me for laser or electrolysis but i'm worried about long term effects of doing laser or electrolysis.

if they've had it, how many treatments for them? which area did they get done? how much did it cost them? (what currency)

If you have pale skin and black hair, then laser would work well on you. Depending on how resistant the roots are and how coarse the hair is you may have to get a few treatments on the same area. Laser is not considered to be a permanent hair removal solution but with some people it gives permanent results or at least lessens the amount of hair. I am doing home electrolysis (as you may have seen my recent thread on the topic) and it is working, although it is very time-consuming (since I am doing it myself and all). As for how much laser costs, you should check out the local places in your area because it may tend to be different than getting it done in, say, NYC. It is expensive for sure, but it is done on a larger area at once and therefore you spend less time with laser than with electrolysis.
