i have this rash. it doesnt itch. it doesnt hurt. it isnt sore. it started on my knee cap very tiny. then it got a little bigger and wouldnt go away. it almost looked like rug burn. but its not. and people told me it kind of looked like ringworm. but its not. well, now its everywhere. little spots of it. like, no bigger than a quarter. but its only on my legs and arms and back of hands and feet. no where else. so its not like i'm allergic to anything. and the texture is totally weird. most of them look like a bunch of tiny itty bitty red dots in a little group. like, someone poked me with a needle a dozen times. but these "pin pricks" are raised a tiny bit and a little bit.. dry maybe. the ones on my arm are light pinkish and skin colored and ... its just the underside of my arm. one on top. amazingly it hasnt got my right arm. just a tiny bit on my wrist. but ANYWAY. does anyone have a clue what this could be? i'm not on meds. and its only in these places so an allergic reaction to food or clothing wouldnt seem likely. i know i should see a doctor but i'm broke so i'm looking for people who might know what this is first.

oh my. those pics were horrid. i hope what i have doesnt turn into that. ever. my rashes are not a crusty white. it does not look like acne. jeeze. and i lied. i looked in the mirror and found that it had infected my right arm at the elbow and that one may be a little crusty white. but that might be dry elbow. my god i hope its just a dry elbow.
i also read part of the site and it said something about strep throat. which is what i had before this came around. i'm doomed.

ah, there's a pic of my arm. i screwed with the contrast and balance so you guys could see it. i'm really bright white and the spot is a shade of pink so light you can barely see it. but the spots on my legs are darker.

maybe it is an allergic reaction. i get an allergic reaction to some perfume. mine looks like that but is itchy. god, i kind of love rashes.

i went to the doc. 150$. wtf. i hate being american. anyway. he looked at my arms and didnt know what it was. then looked at one spot on my knee and decided it was ringworm. i dont think its ringworm. it doesnt itch. and ringworm is really contagiuos. people have TOUCHED it and they dont have it. my boyfriend doesnt have it. i have dogs and they dont have it. though i'd love to blame them. i have to put things on it and if it doesnt clear up in two weeks i have to call back. because fuck no i'm not going to pay 150$ again if THEY fucked up.

ok. so two doctors said ringworm and 300$ later.... i went to the dermatologist today and he said he could not do a culture because i had been putting anitfungal on it for a while but he said it is NOT ringworm and he believes its eczema. so i can stop washing my sheets and towels everyday and changing clothes multiple times a day. if it doesnt clear up in 3 weeks i have to go back. and if they find out it IS ringworm then... i'm just going to take a cheese grater to my skin.

yep looks kinda like ezema which you can start getting if you nervous or stressed. I've had bouts of it before and i just got prescribed a steroid cream which calmed it down
