Do you wear mascara daily?

And what does it do to your eyelashes?

I have worn mascara daily for the past 2 years or so (almost every day, I may have skipped a few) and my eyelashes used to be really long and full but now they've become shorter and I feel like there's less of them...

I'm gonna try taking a break from make-up (I don't wear any foundation any way, just mascara and eyeliner) and take care of my eyelashes.

I hear castor oil is really good for hair growth and people put it on their eyelashes and they said it really makes them grow. I was wondering whether almond or coconut oil (or even vitamin E oil) would have some effect?
And has anyone used Talika Lipocils on their eyelashes? I might want to try that.

What mascara and make-up remover do you use?

crappy drugstore kind. I can't get myself to spend a lot of money on make-up.... (also: I don't have a lot of money )

Currently I switch between L'oreal "Telescopic" and Almay One coat Nourishing Mascara.

To remove make-up I use Vichy Purete Thermale

Maybe that's why? I know someone who used drugstore mascara for ages and her eyelashes fell out and never grew back I think mascara is one of those things you should invest in, you can get pretty nasty infections for using shitty eye products.
You can buy really good ones for not much more than the L'Oreal one you're using. Most good mascaras have eye lash nourishing ingredients that are supposed to thicken and strengthen your lashes, but whether it is true or not I'm not sure.
I don't wear it everyday, but when I do it's quite dramatic. Always make sure you remove it completely before bedtime.

Talika lipocils made my lashes FALL OUT. I hated it.
I use it on my eyebrows now though, it seems to work on my eyebrows

I sometimes use something called tana balsam on my lashes. it's a german brand. tana balsam looks like a mascara but it's a tinted sort of wax made out of mineral oil, lanolin, etc.
it's very conditioning and costs like 5 euros.

i reckon that if I can get it here you should be able to get it in belgium, after all, belgium is closer to germany

i use maybelline mascara, but i put clinique primer under it.
