Has anyone ever used this?

I just got this from my dermatologist for my clogged pores. Does it work? Does it also work on scars?

It smells terrible! I have it on my face right now and I keep on smelling it, but if it works I'll learn to love the stink.

it has glycolic acid btw (6%)

I'm scared because loads of people on MUA are saying it broke them out really bad...

I'm also on Differin and Minocyclin antibiotics btw. and I also use aloe vera because it works wonders on my skin. honestly, I haven't used BP or differin in months because it just irritates my skin.
I don't have actual acne any more but my skin is so dull and I have large clogged pores that bother me...

Oh God I hate Avene. The smell is unbearable.

I was having some problems this summer with acne and I bought an Avene cream - I think it was Cleanance AC or Cleanance K.

It smells funky, tastes weird if your bf kisses you goodnight on the cheek. After a while it kind of dried up in the tube for some reason, I dont know why, because I'd been putting the cap back on all the time. When it started drying up the texture became goopey and silicone-y, and when I put it on my face it would just sort of congeal instead of absorb and I'd just peel it off... lol. It felt like when youve been using paper glue and you peel it off your fingers.

A few years back I bought their foaming cleanser too, and it dried out my skin really badly.

I'm never going to buy anything Avene again, ever. I also think La Roche Posay creams smell weird. I mean, if theyre going to add perfume to their skincare, can't they at least use something mild and pleasant? I got a sample of LRP, some kind of clearing gel, I think it was called Effaclar. It smelled like mouldy red peppers.
