| | | white stretchmarks Growing and going from a stick thin girl to a girl with curves got me loads of stretchmarks on my ass. They were red and I freaked out but then I used cocoa butter every day and now they are white but I still hate them.
They are also pretty much scars, they seem to be kinda indented. When i run my fingers over that area of my skin I just feel these ridges. ugh. I hate it. I mean. I have some cellulite on my ass but just a tiny bit but it's as if the ridges of the stretch marks are making the cellulite seem worse.
What can I do about this? I hate them! |

| | | I think there is laser procedures but if you dont wanna go that far.....all you can do is try different anti-stretch mark creams that are normally marketed to pregnant women, Ive seen oils and everything. Maybe its time to try something new or in conjunction to shea butter. Losing weight, toning up might help a tad but I know its not much. Ive had some problems too on my thigh below the bikini line. |

| | thanks... I was thinking probably only laser can help cos most of the creams are for fading the red marks...
And I can't lose weight....I've lost loads of weight (like 24 pounds) since moving back to Europe (I gained a lot of weight living in America, but luckily didn't get any stretch marks from that. I had the stretch marks before the American weight gain) and now I'm already underweight so I really can't lose any more weight.
I have to go see my dermatologist in like a week so I'll ask her..but I don't want her to look at my ass! on the other hand....my regular doctor already put her finger up my ass and studied my vagina...
I guess I'll be ok with it. lol. |

| | yea. I'm afraid the laser is expensive and I'm not sure my mom's gonna wanna pay for it... I'm at uni right now, so not making any money myself...
although I did talk about them with her once and showed her the stretch makrs and she felt bad for me cause they're really scars... I mean. you really have to look to see them but they still bother me.
I'll ask the derm about different options though... I actually heard microdermabrasion also helps and that's not too expensive! But I don't remember whether it was for white or red ones... |

| | I heard Strivectin-D works? It's an expensive cream though. Just keep using the cocoa butter, I think Palmer's makes the best, and it's mega cheap. |

| | | i've got white stretch-marks on my hips. i've had them since i was about 12. personally i doubt anything other than surgery will have a massive effect, sadly. i dunno, this isn't any help, but don't most women have them? i'm not really fussed about mine |

But I think it does kinda hurt cos it's like a really harsh scrub kind if thing.... so yea. it probably hurts a little...
but I've had fruit acid peels and all kinds of crap done to my face for my acne so I think I'll be able to handle it. ass has thick skin haha |

| | | If it makes you feel any better....
This is Kate Moss's bum. Honestly, don't worry too much. I know it's so tired and cliche, but love your body. Strech marks and all. If you feel sexy, you exude confidence and you'll look much better. Not to mention you'll FEEL a lot better too. |

mine look nothing like hers though. she has really deep skin creases.... mine are kinda more wider "stripes".
ah. I mean. I'm not really stressing about them. I just like to look my best and they just annoy me because apart from the stretch marks I pretty luch love my body... it's not perfect but at the moment it works for me you know.
i dunno. it's nothing major and I don't think I'm willing to spend a lot of money on laser or sth... maybe after I have kids and I look really terrible!
I just have this really annoying perfectionist tendency....not just looks-wise...just everything. it's not too good because I am NEVER happy. |

| | I have them too. I wouldnt worry too much about them as most people have them and are more concerned about their own then anyone's else. If someone is nasty to you about them then they are just being idiots and ignorant and probably have something else wrong with them! You are fine with them. I have loads on my hips and thighs, I got them when I was about 14 and now im 25 I hardly care for them as they are quite faint. Laser surgery is good but expensive and usually blisters up and looks worse at the beginning of treatments, I think they are a waste of money.
try not to worry too much about them, everyone has them |

I put cocoa butter on them eeyr single day for like a year... They turn white eventually...and cocoa butter helps speed up that process. |

| | | em, do things to stimulate blood flow, like exfoliation, and massages etc. for cellulite.
i have a massive fat ass and very little cellulite
and also get some sun on your ass, it makes the stretchmarks less visible

Waterpark in Florida.....some very hot bikini babe, very tanned, lean ect... but I was right behind her in the queue low and behold....I saw them, yes those stretch marks stripes that are silverish when the light shone on her hips. But the fact that she was tanned definitely disguised any redness. I was 16 and shocked, I always thought skinny girls couldnt get them before that. |
