basically, i'm going to a rockabilly show in tahoe on friday & we're dressing up.

i generally do the pomp, but i feel that my little sister has exploited this look & i'm not down for it anymore. plus its boring i kind of want extravagant.

i don't have bangs, which a lot of the styles use... so i'm in a pickle, that & i don't really know how to do much with my hair. NOT ONLY THAT, but my hair is super shitty & bone straight, so volume is hard.



how do i achieve a hairstyle like this? you know without being so hot already.

i did similar to my fringe the other night. i just teased it a bit then combed out a thing layer rolled it into a cylinder and pinned the straight bits over the teassed bit then hair sprayed the shit through it

do think getting some big foam rollers would help the cylinder process?

i think you're underestimating my volume/teasing conundrum. my hair practically falls out of a tease. otherwise i'd have big hair all of my life.

hmm yeah rollers might help getting the shape but you cant really leave them in all night. unless you cover them really well with hair. which is maybe not as shit an idea as it sounds

get a wig...but you have to go to a good wig shop,
where they have real hair wigs etc....
you'd be surprised with the shit they have.
i just went to one last december and was impressed..

i know it may sound bizarre,but they have perfect hairstyles
for the rockabilly look and it'll look perfect the whole night.

if you do whatever to your own hair it might be a bigger
deal cos i have ridiculously straight hair aswell and keeping
things up is just not going to happen......
