I dyed my hair mahogany, its dark brown dark red colour. I have pale skin and blue eyes.

Im finding it hard to get make-up to suit. I have green eye-shadow but think that liquid eye liner and strong lines was too much. I was told about putting grey in the inner side of the lid and then the green at the end. But the eyeliner is too much.

I have grey eye shadow too.

Im quite self-conscious and feel weird without eyeliner etc.

is there anyone which could give me advice or if you know of good websites for hintS?

it's hard to say without a pic, but perhaps try lining with brown. maybee deep plum that is less purple and more earthy brownish. avoid sparkelly colors. keep it soft and well blended.

i have allways kept my hair red, but i am so fair skinned that mahogany, plum shades look too purple and do not flatter me. generally it best suits olive skin.

You could just try a diffrent colour eyeliner,Like dark green or purple?

skip liquid liner
skip grey---ew it just dulls everything
skip hard liner all together
you need taupes and gilded gold colors & light browns-nuetrals with a punch

use shadow as liner because its easier to blend--wet the brush if you want a more precise line

Im gonna have to look in my make-up bag for the light brown neutrals.

I have at the moment got green with grey eye-liner.

The black was to harsh.
