Right. What lipstick colour should I wear with red hair?

I dye my hair with this colour on the far right:




It's not always that bright, (in fact its only that colour mostly for the first 5 days I have it), but you can get the impression of what kinda of red it is.

I can't figure out what shade of red lipstick to wear with it. Light/dark/hot red?

There must be some other redheads who wear red lipstick out there

I use exactly the same colour! You'll probably find it stays that colour for longer if you use a crazy dye-full shampoo like Trevor Sorbie stuff.

I find only a really dark red works - too bright and it clashes. Metallic colours look awful too, because they clash with the glossiness my hair gets when I dye it.

How often do you dye your hair? And what colour i it naturally?

Ooo i use that dye too. I don't really wear lipstick cos I feel like no matter what shade I use it makes me look clown-like

I dye my hair about once every 5 weeks.

Natural colour is a mousey brown, hence why I dye it.

Eyebrows are a darker brown colour, however. Thank the lord.
