i've mentioned it on the boards before the crash:
http://www.pureluxecosmetics.com/
her site is terrible but please don't let that put you off from her products!! it's mineral makeup of high quality and low prices.
i ordered a bunch of samples from her and then bought larger versions of the foundation, blushes and setting powders i liked... and i'm still (months later) using the eyeshadow samples because they're no where near running out yet.
some of them are now official favorites of mine in my makeup collection. in my opinion, the best colors so far that i've used from pureluxe are ones whose pics on the site don't do them justice. at a dollar a sample, you really can get a feel for the variety, i just decided to check out her stuff and bought a bit of everything for a splurge and ended up with some very good quality stuff. i tend towards flashier and heavier (punk/newage/80s glam/theatrical) makeup when i do myself up a lot of the time, and these have worked well for that but aren't limited to it. i also ended up with some ones good for my more toned-down and barely-there makeup days. a lot of the colors go both ways, applied dry they give a very soft tone and when applied wet get very intense (especially if you use primer beforehand).
the stuff got to me fast and in great packing -bubblewrapped all to hell, nothing was gonna break in there!
i've been very pleased. in fact, am buying some samples this month of colors i missed last time.
