Another Curly Hair thread. Styling tips and Suggestions for new layers

Hey

It is yet another Curly Hair thread.

I got my hair trimmed about a month and a half ago, but my old layers grew out a long long time ago.

My hair is very thick/curly (i.e Chris Cornell Badmotorfinger days or Nicole Kidman)

I am too lazy to straighten my hair everyday, I'd much rather find a way to manage with my hair the way it is naturally. Sometimes I have good days regarding my hair when I wear it down.

I want to get new layers cut in my hair really badly/soon because the whole front is way too long (one length) and I'd like to get rid of some volume.

Can someone post pictures of Curly Hair styles, especially layers?

I used a Curly hair type conditionr,I like the way the curls turned out but I did not put any product in it, I'm going to try with product tomorrow and see how it looks.

Any help would be great.

post pics of your hair.

for me, less is more.
i don't do anything to my hair along the 'style' tip. like dry, straighten, etc.
the only time it's combed through is when i have it cut every 3 months.

all hair is different and handles product differently. & it's all about the climate.
