| | | You're more than likely going to need a toner to get rid of the orangey look after bleaching it.
Be prepared to have completely fried hair though.

| | | i recently went to the salon for this, and they refused to do it. then i got my colour specialist over, and she did a test on my hair and then refused to do it. so probably not the best idea. |

| | | i did it, but i got blonde highlights put into brown dyed hair beforehand, cause like the others my hairdresser refused to do the whole thing. I was impatient and did it myself anyway, it went kind of orange, but toner sorted it out pretty quickly. I like the way it looks, but my hairs in crap condition now. |

| | | i ever tried on brown colored hair and i still remember my heart and my eyes collaping seeing my poor hair on the mirror. i was dead of horror. My such beautiful hair became yellow-orange.
i love my hair. and patience is a vertu i've heard...

| | | seriously, as a friend, i say: don't do that!
u can light it a bit, then light it again in 2 months for example. i hink it's the smartest way.

| | | I got my hair white blonde from dyed black. I lost a good 6 inches or more in length and it was fried beyond belief. Then i decided it didnt like right on me and dyed my hair pink. Now its brown.
Anyway, You'll need to bleach the living hell out of it. I bleached mine a total of 12 times and on 60 and 40% vol. I wouldnt suggest anyone use 60% as its really not wise. Also, invest in good conditioners and shampoo!! |

| | | yeah. it will just take many many applications of bleach.
try and space them out by a couple of weeks each application if you can. |

| | Your stylists are there to advise you against poor choices.
When I went to get my hair done red, I wanted a fire engine red all over, but they wouldn't do it. They instead did a deeper red with the bright one in panels underneath. Good thing too, because when the color faded, the panels turned Ronald McDonald hair color red.
They know best and would only refuse to do something to your hair if it really is a bad decision.

| | | I went to a salon and paid £50 for them to make me blonde from black, I had reservations as to whether they'd be able to do it, and they promised they could, and I ended up with really patchy, brown hair and was far from impressed.
I thought fuck it, did it myself and ended up needing 5 bleaches, then I left it a month and put a blonde dye on top and after some hair TLC it's alright again now. I am naturally blonde, so bits of my hair took better to the bleach than others.
Deep condition it each time you bleach it, it helped stop mine completely snapping off. |
