| | | home microderm is no where near the results of professional microderm done in a salon/dermatologist. let me put it this way: a good microderm machine will cost a salon/dermatologist about $10-12,000. so, what do you think you're getting for a little home kit that's less than $50?
i suggest getting professional microderm done, and keeping your skin up in between visits with a good old fashion exfoliant. |

Amen, this is spot on. I've tried a home kit and it did give me good results, but it's no where near getting a pro micro job, which are getting much more affordable. It doesn't hurt to mix a little sugar with your facial cleanser about once a week to slough off dead skin and fine lines... OK, now I want to go wash my face... |

Masturbation is great for your complexion too. There are many kinds of beneficial 'facials'... ;P |

| | | It's not so much the act as what you do with the by-products. If it was just the wanking, I'm pretty sure a large sector of the anti-spot product market would go out of business because of teenage boys!
Actually, believe it or not though, I've heard for guys, shooting a load gets rid of a lot of zinc, which is actually supposedly worse for your skin.
I've also heard it makes you go blind... |

Stress can make acne worse. No masturbation equals stress. My acupuncturist says masturbation lowers my kidney chi. I'll just get dialysis one day. Take zinc supplements and get glasses, mate. Life's too short. |

I'm not sure if it's the same as the face one or not, but it's worth a try. |

| | | they're the same in that they both provide deep exfoliation to the skin.
the difference is though that microderm is done with an a machine that blasts crystals onto your face (think of it as sandblasting your face, but not painful)- where as chemical peels are an actual topical thing you apply to the skin and it chemically exfoliates the skin (ie it works via "active" ingredients, you don't rub it in or scrub it or anything). | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
