| | | Oily Skin products I'm looking for different lines of skincare products designed for Oily Skin. I have a bit of an oily skin/scalp problem but I'm using Head & Shoulders Intensive Solutions for Fine/Oily hair and I just started taking Vilantae pills so all I need to take care of now is the skincare.
The only drugstore ones that I've discovered so far are Biore Shine Control & Clearasil Oil Control. Both lines only have a few products in the line however, not enough for a whole skincare routine. I guess you're supposed to use the brand's other lines products for stuff they lack (toner, moisturizer, etc). I'm not too into trying the Clearasil one but I'm slightly tempted to try the Biore line.
The one I'm most interested in has to be Lancome Pure Focus, It's an entire skincare line designed specifically for Oily Skin. I saw the lotion advertisment in Teen Vogue and looked it up online, the line has every single product you could need for your daily regime, even a Mask. It's a tad bit expensive but I have enough money saved up and I'm really thinking about getting it, right now I'm using Proactiv but It's time for a change. I just wanted to check and see if anyone else here knew any other skincare lines that would be good for Oily Skin before I go ahead and buy anything.
also, if you have any experiences with any of the products I've mentioned in this post than please share. |

| | | Clarins has a whole line designed for oily skin.
It's a bit expensive but there is really nothing better than Clarins for your skincare. |

| | | It's really simple.
This threa is about finding a new skincare line. I posted it in "The Spa", a forum designed for this type of discussion. I don't see any type of issues with that but maybe if you could explain why you said that I could understand a little better. |

| | You don't need a whole line of products, there's no reason you can't mix and match within brands. But if you must, there's a new brand at sephora called TESS that sells skincare geared towards teens and is midpriced, pretty good value for sephora. http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_...l?brandId=5837
Not sure if the products are any good but it could be worth checking out. They sell skincare "kits" which can be a good value if you use all the products.
Just a tip related ot the original post: Use plain witch hazel as toner, it works just as well and is nonirritating -- I prefer it because it's less sticky than other toners. |

| | | I would never use those shitty drug store products like clearasil ... that stuff has salicylic acid in it which over long term use might irritate your skin more, dry it out, and cause your skin to over-produce even more oil to make up for the dryness. The only time my skin ever started to finally clear up was when I stopped the drug store products and started using clarins. |

| | | If you can, invest in Olay Regenerist's daily renewal cleanser and the Total Effects Anti-Blemish moisturizer. I am a total convert to Olay. Every since I started using their products, my skin has improved dramatically. A lot of the cheaper products are loaded with alcohol, which dries the hell out of skin and makes the problems with oil worse. |

| | | Legit, rub a lemon slice on your face.
The natural acids suck it all up.
Thats how I keep my face clear. |

Because the lemon reaction is very strong. Youll notice it the next day. |

i've been using clarins products for about two months (purifying cleansing gel, purifying toning lotion and hydra-matte lotion) but it's not done much for my skin so far. |

| | | Dermalogica is really good, if you go on their website you can do an online face-mapping and it'll tell you which products should work for you.
The only problem is it's expensive, but you do get what you pay for.
I can't really afford it but I buy it anyway because if my skin is bad it massively effects my self esteem, so I figure it's worth it.
I use their:
Anti-bacterial skin wash
Multiactive toner
Oil control lotion
and Medicated Clearing Gel for breakouts.
I hate being 25 and still having teenage skin.
Also Simple do a really good oil-free factor 20, non-comodogenic sun cream for the face.
I hope this helps some.
