i was going to buy Russian Red by MAC but i can't decide if it's worth the money or if i could get a cheaper brand.

redlippy wearers, what brands do you use?

ysl rouge pur. the color label came off. i think its 120 le rouge.
on its own its prety intense so first i line and fill with mac cherry, then use a tissue and dust powder over it to set it. then apply a light coat of ysl with a brush and blot with a tissue. if i feel brave i just use it straight out of the tube.

oh. nars makes great lipsticks. they are my favourites. but i've never used the red. you need to go to a counter and try stuff me thinks.

if you go on the nars website, when you rest on the color, it shows you the lipstick. and they have fat lip pencils that is like lipstick in a pencil form or high powered stains. and they never try to paint me weird. i advocate the nars. but the ysl red is my absolute fav ever.

i think maybelline (sp?) or maybe its revoln makes this red called cherries in the snow. its pretty good. its an original color from the 50s. and theres a matching nail polish to match oh boy!
