| | | MAC Fluidline eyeliner Does anyone else LOVE this stuff? It's amazing, once it dries it pretty much doesn't budge, and they've got great colors. I've got Blacktrack and Royal Wink, and I'm going to get more today - either Iris Eyes or the darker purple one. I might try Sweet Sage in the store but I have a feeling it won't really show up on my eyes very well. I wish they'd come up with a brighter green color. |

| | | Oh I've asked for some of this for my birthday, it looks lovely. I would love to get the standard black and then once I've got the hang of it go for some different colours. Glad to hear good things about it, I've wanted some for ages! |

| | Make sure you ask for the eyeliner brush too, cos you need that to put it on. It takes some getting used to if you're used to using an eyeliner pencil, but once you get the hang of it, you'll prefer it, cos you can get a much more precise line with the brush-it gives you a lot more control. I'd definately say start out with black...then get a color that'll compliment your eyes. |

What I do (if you can picture this) is, close the lid of the eye I'm about to apply the liner to. Put my finger in the corner of my eye(corner near the nose) and I kinda pull my lid towards my nose. This gives you a clear shape of the lid and I just quicky sweep it across my lid & up and out a bit(slight 'wing' nothing obvious/silly looking though). Then I leave the lid closed for a few seconds to let the liner dry. Open the eye, fill in the area where my finger was.
Hope that makes sense.
I used to make a huge mess w/ liquid but now, it's like second nature. |

| | | I've never tried holding my inner corner of my eye, always the outer corner. I'll have to try this today and see how well it works. Thanks for the tip. Rep you if i could! |

| | | The only fluidline I own I use as a base and not a liner, but if you're interested in a longlasting eyeliner, the MAC liquidlast ones last forever too. I swatched one of these on my hand, and the MAC makeup remover cloth I tried to scrub it off with wouldn't even fade it -- it looked like I'd just put it on. I had a little turqoise line on my hand for days. |
