big painful pimple

i can't remember the last time i got a zit, but today i woke up with one the size of egypt. it HURTS. what would decrease the swelling and sensitivity?

i'm so not going anywhere today.

thanks, but i asked about reducing the swelling and making it less sensitive because it hurts right now. make-up doesn't help with that.

unfortunatly there is little you can do except wait for it to heal. I have one as well, just DON'T pop it. Then you will have inflammed tissue and probabl a scar. I hate pimples. If you ahve any retin-a put that on it.

Try holding a warm cloth over it for awhile....that helps me with the painful ones.
