| | | coping with winter hair.. now it's getting rainy and windy my hair is starting to look a state.i straighten it and put hairspray on it every morning but as soon as i get outside it frizzes up and looks awful for the rest of the day! everyone else's hair seems to survive so im wondering what products i should use to keep it straight? (and i have a limited budget) |

Before I had them I used to have a coat with a hood, and a hat and an umbrella and my hair STILL didn't cooperate in wet weather. Now it's ok though n i don't have to hide from the rain. I think you can get ghds on the net for about 80 at the cheapest. but yeah, that's still tons. |

| | | I learned long ago not to even try to straighten my hair when it's rainy or humid out. My hair stays straight in the winter when it's really cold and snowy. But if it's rainy, or hot and humid, forget it. You're better off embracing your curls in weather like that. Make it easier on yourself. |

Wavy hair isn't so bad is it? |

| | | it wouldn't be if it was nice wavy!
but its random waves and it flicks out at the bottom, and my fringe looks awful if it isn't straight
i'm getting my roots done in a couple of weeks so i might ask my hairdresser if there's anything she recommends |

| | | Use a really good moisturizing conditioner and rinse it out with cold water...but the trick is to not rinse it out completely...this helps me b/c my hair is exactly as you are describing. |
