I don't really know, because your hair looks way thinner than the girl's from the first pic, but I would try it if I were you. That's a cute haircut, I don't think it would look bad on you

Cutting your hair short normally give it more volume anyway, so I wouldn't worry about that.
I have shitty thin hair when its long, yet if I cut it short, its lovely and thick.

Yeah, go for it.
