| | | Sunbeds I know that youre going to say fake it, but my backne is soooo bad and the only thing that seems to clear it up is the sun. Now the summer is gone I'll have to use sunbeds.
How long should each session be and how long should I wait between each session? How much is reasonable price-wise? |

| | | depending on where you go the minimun buy is either 3 or 5 minutes, so do a couple of those to get your skin used to it then increase the time, again depending on where you are you can go up to say 6 min or 10 min.
prices vary quite alot, i work in a gym, we have two fast tan beds and we charge about £4 for 5 min and then it works out cheaper if you buy a course.
but tanning chains like Tanfastic do much better deals, there courses can work out something like 10p min.
the warning posters say you shouldnt exceed 20 sessions per year, but it's your life so you decide. I go on them because they help clear up my spots and i just look better with a tan. I know it will harm me in the long run and I'll regret it blah blah but everything else is harming me too so what the fuck, i want a tan! |

| | | Nothing wrong with going to a sunbed. I mean if you go to a nice, proffesional salon and have the proper protection such as goggles, spf lip balm etc and follow their strict directions you'll be fine. If you just follow the directions carefully with ANYTHING you'll be fine, people just think more is better with anything and end up getting hurt.
I still think sunless tanning is best (WHEN DONE RIGHT, like Mystic Tan or Fake Bake if you insist on doing it at home) not only health wise but appearance wise too.. but if you just really do prefer actual natural tans well there is nothing wrong with that.
As for body acne, I understand how that is. I've started using Neutrogena Body Clear Wash and Scrub daily in the shower, leaving the wash on the affected areas for a few minutes.. kind of like how you would leave a mask on your face for awhile, then after that I used Natures Cure 2-Part System and take their pills and use their body spray. It's SO much clearer than it used to be. |

Ive tried Boots and Superdrug too, but no luck. |

| | | I had really bad bacne also, and I still get the occasional pimple there. That neutrogena body wash didn't make a difference for me. What does work for me is this: get oxy medicated pads for the face (or any brand of medicated face pads which contain salycilic acid) and just use it on your back after showering. It works. |

| | | Dont use sunbeds ever! Not unless you want to be old and wrinkly by the time you're 35... or worse dead. |

| | | I used to go on every other day, for 10 minutes a time, thankfully I stopped this because it was so expensive but I'll probably be a wrinkly old cunt by 30 or something.
If it isn't for a tan, you could probably get away with going on it hardly ever. |

I went a few times more than a year ago but I'm like crazy afraid to get skin cancer. I now have this facial sunbed thing for my "acne" (you can't really call it acne any more, just some weird skin with sometimes an actual pimple) and to not look too sickly pale..although I still do. I don't mind though | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
